To find the perfect posture while playing guitar you should first position the guitar so it is comfortable to reach with your hands so that you do not need to slouch over. If you find yourself slouching, tighten the strap so you can better reach the guitar. You should keep your back straight no matter if you are standing or sitting while playing the guitar. If you are standing still, keep you feet shoulder width apart.
Maintaining proper posture and hand position will help you to be more comfortable while you play guitar and help you to avoid aches and pains later on.
