There are a lot of reasons to love electric guitars but the one we’re all focused on is because they’re been played by such greats. We’ve put together a list of our favorite electric guitars and their owners and if you’ve got the cash you should get on your WildBlue internet and try to find one up for auction. Hendrix: The Godfather of electric guitar, Jimi Hendrix played a Fender 60s Reverse Headstock Stratocaster. It made the sweetest sounds at the hands of this guitar legend but odds are no one else can ever make it sound quite so smooth again
Eric Clapton: Yup, Clapton’s cool enough that Stratocaster made him his very own guitar and what he loves to play is dubbed the Eric Clapton Signature Strat. It’s got black and white styling and is as sleek as the “Layla” artist himself.
Carlos Santana: He’s got arguably some of the best guitar skills on the planet and he plays with a relatively low-tech guitar – imagine that. The Gibson SG is his weapon of choice and boy can he make it sing.
